Merespon hal tersebut, Project STOP menutup sementara kantor-kantor operasional dan menerapkan kerja dari rumah bagi tim kami. Di Muncar dan Pasuruan, para pekerja yang terlibat dalam pengumpulan dan pengolahan limbah terus bekerja di garis depan.<\/p>\n<p>Memastikan pengolahan sampah yang berkelanjutan penting untuk menjaga kesehatan masyarakat serta memastikan sampah plastik tidak mencemari lingkungan. Karena alasan ini, maka banyak negara yang memberikan status pekerja kunci kepada individu yang memberikan layanan pengelolaan sampah, dan Project STOP tetap melanjutkan pelayanan sistem persampahan di Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Kami berkomitmen untuk memastikan tempat pengumpulan sampah dan pekerja pada Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) di Muncar dan Pasuruan aman. Kami mengadakan pelatihan tentang kebersihan dan virus Corona, menyediakan peralatan cuci tangan termasuk sabun dan cairan antiseptik, dan menyediakan alat pengukur suhu tubuh untuk mendeteksi demam. Para pekerja juga tetap menggunakan peralatan pelindung seperti sarung tangan dan masker, serta menerapkan jaga jarak sosial. Kendaraan dan peralatan pengumpul sampah sepenuhnya dibersihkan setiap hari, dan setiap permukaan dibersihkan beberapa kali dalam sehari. Hingga saat ini, semua pekerja garda depan tetap sehat.<\/p>\n<p>Kami berterima kasih kepada seluruh karyawan Project STOP yang bekerja di garda terdepan untuk menjaga limbah plastik tidak mencemari lautan dan berkontribusi terhadap kesehatan masyarakat.
