Pada bulan April, dengan dukungan dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan dan Kabupaten Banyuwangi, kami meluncurkan kemitraan kami dengan kecamatan pesisir, Muncar, di Jawa Timur, untuk menciptakan sistem pengelolaan sampah sirkular yang mencegah masuknya sampah ke laut, meningkatkan daur ulang plastik, dan memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat setempat.<\/p>\n<p>Di bawah kepemimpinan Andre Kuncoroyekti,  Chief Delivery Officer Project STOP, bekerja sama dengan lembaga pemerintah, bisnis, dan organisasi masyarakat setempat untuk membangun sistem menyeluruh pengelolaan sampah plastik \u2013 membawa layanan pengumpulan sampah kepada masyarakat di Muncar, meningkatkan fasilitas pengelolaan sampah masyarakat, membersihkan pantai dari tumpukan plastik, dan mendukung penjualan plastik ke pabrik daur ulang di kota terdekat yaitu Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p>Pencapaian ini dapat diraih dengan dukungan dari mitra global Project STOP \u2013 Borealis, Kementerian Luar Negeri Norwegia, NOVA Chemicals, Borouge, Veolia, Sustainable Waste Indonesia, dan SYSTEMIQ \u2013 yang mewujudkan tercapainya metrik dan tonggak pencapaian utama kami untuk tahun ini, termasuk:<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>126<\/strong>: TON SAMPAH DICEGAH MASUK KE LAUTAN<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>27:<\/strong> PERTEMUAN MASYARAKAT DIADAKAN UNTUK BERKONSULTASI DAN MEMBERI INFORMASI TENTANG SISTEM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH YANG BARU<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>8,000:<\/strong> JUMLAH PENDUDUK MUNCAR MENERIMA LAYANAN PENGUMPULAN SAMPAH UNTUK PERTAMA KALINYA<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>481<\/strong>: JAM PELATIHAN DIBERIKAN KEPADA PEKERJA DALAM SISTEM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DAN TOKOH MASYARAKAT<\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>49<\/strong>: JUMLAH TOTAL PEKERJA PENUH DAN PARUH WAKTU DICIPTAKAN DALAM SISTEM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH YANG BARU<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami bangga dengan tonggak pencapaiandi tahun 2018 yang telah dicapai oleh Project STOP di Indonesia, tetapi kami tahu ini hanyalah awal dari komitmen kami untuk memberikan solusi konkret yang secara permanen mencegah masuknya sampah plastik ke lingkungan dan memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat di Asia Tenggara,\u201d kata Joi Danielson, Program Director , Ocean Plastics Asia, di SYSTEMIQ. \u201cKami berterima kasih atas dukungan pemerintah Indonesia, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, dan mitra kami yang telah bekerja bersama kami tahun ini untuk mewujudkannya.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Project STOP akan terus memperluas project di Muncar dan di akhir tahun ini, kami akan mengumumkan kemitraan kota baru untuk mencapai misinya.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2018 was a successful inaugural year for Project STOP in Indonesia.
