Neckarsulm, April 10, 2019 \u2014<\/strong> Sampah plastik di lautan adalah masalah global dan merupakan ancaman khususnya bagi banyak negara Asia. Berperan dalam membersihkan sampah plastik, Schwarz Retail Group (SRG) (Lidl, Kaufland, PreZero) mendukung Project STOP (Stop Ocean Plastic) sebagai mitra teknis. STOP adalah inisiatif terdepan yang bertujuan mencegah sampah plastik masuk ke lautan dan bekerja sama terutama dengan masyarakat setempat di Indonesia untuk mengembangkan sistem pengelolaan sampah yang efisien di lapangan. SRG adalah peritel makanan pertama yang mendukung inisiatif ini, yang diluncurkan di Indonesia pada tahun 2017.<\/p>\n

Sejak saat itu, perusahaan-perusahaan besar di dalam rantai penyedia plastik dan Kementerian Luar Negeri Norwegia telah bergabung dengan Project STOP, bersama dengan sejumlah lembaga pemerintahan di Indonesia. Jika ditelusuri kembali, STOP adalah sebuah inisiatif yang dimulai oleh dua perusahaan yaitu Borealis dan SYSTEMIQ. STOP mendukung kota dan masyarakat dengan menyediakan ahli di bidang teknis dan berbagi kemampuan untuk mengatur sistem pengelolaan sampah. Project pertama dimulai pada April 2018 di Muncar, sebuah kota pesisir di pulau Jawa Indonesia. Dua kemitraan kota selanjutnya akan dibentuk selama tahun ini.<\/p>\n

STRATEGI KELOMPOK: RESET PLASTIC<\/h3>\n

Kemitraan Schwarz Retail Group dengan Project STOP merupakan bagian dari strategi REset Plastic kelompoknya, yang dimulai pada 2018. \u201cDengan strategi plastik ini, kami berharap dapat membangun cara berpikir baru untuk hari esok yang bersih,\u201d kata Thomas Kyriakis, Manajer Schwarz Zentrale Dienste. Lima macam tindakan yang telah ditetapkan untuk strategi tersebut, diantaranya: pencegahan, desain, daur ulang, pengurangan, serta inovasi dan investigasi.<\/p>\n
